Frequently Asked Questions

Q. I’m interested in a role that I’ve seen advertised on the Battersea website. What qualifications or experience are required?

A. Simply click ‘Read more’ next to the vacancy you are interested in and read through the advert which outlines all the requirements for the role. You’ll find everything you need to apply here.

Q. Have you received my application?

A. You can review your applications at any time by logging in to your account on our website. You’ll be able to check that we have received your application as well as track it’s progress. You’ll also receive email updates whenever there’s an update on your application to keep you informed.

Q. What if I have any technical issues or am unable to apply through the website?

A. Please contact us on volunteerdepartment@Battersea.org.uk and we’d be happy to support you in completing your application.

Q. Can I email you my CV instead of applying through the website?

A. All applications need to be made through the website, so we don’t accept CVs that are sent in by email.

Q. I don’t want to finish my application in one go – can I come back to it later?

A. Yes, you can. Just make sure you save your application on our website, and every time you add something to it and to complete and submit it before the vacancy closes.

Q. Can I still apply for a job after the deadline has passed?

A. Unfortunately you will not be able to make an application once the deadline for the role has passed.

Q. I am worried that I might miss a role that I am interested in at Battersea being advertised. Can you keep me updated?

A. We would strongly encourage you to sign up for role alerts which will keep you updated with new vacancies at Battersea when they are advertised.

Q. I applied for a role and haven’t heard anything. Can I have an update?

A. We are unlikely to contact you before the vacancy has closed. You can log in to your account to track the progress of your application at any time, and you’ll receive an email when there is an update on your application.
